Exhaustion Part 984
I just spent two hours working from home, trying to catch up on the mass projects that Corporate handed out last week and the week before, both weeks which I'm running behind on said projects and my daily tasks. At this point, I think it might be impossible for me to catch up unless I start working weekends. I can't get through the day without at least three small tasks/projects being delegated to me on top of the backlog I'm still trying to work through from June/July/August turnovers. I seriously don't see an end to this now. Not after today. I also spent two hours working from home YESTERDAY, but I'm limited in what I can do since I cannot access the main program I need to access. I don't have rights to that sort of thing unless I'm sitting at my desk at work. I hate that. I could get my laundry done and visit with my husband and watch an hour of TV if I wanted to in between cleaning up all this garbage. As it stands now, if I go to work on the weekends, the clothes stay dirty, the groceries remain unpurchased, and the bills are not paid. I can't be in two places at once, and I can't be two people at work to cover what I've fallen behind in, despite busting my ass and staying late almost every evening. Something's got to give. It's not getting better FOR ME.
Also, I received a handy little organizational tool from one of the regional employees to help everyone in my particular position make it through our daily tasks. It seems, upon reviewing this new little handout, that I have not been working EIGHT reports because I had no idea I was required to do so. Good thing she sent this handy list out to us. Christ. I need to delegate something simple to someone and have no one to which to delegate.
Serenity now!
